lauri: I think FSMN is a beacon of hope in this stressful world. It is not only a place to be safe, but for academic strength and developing the art of learning. I taught there for 15 years. I have moved on to work in other schools, and none have matched up--for the children, families and staff that are happy to work there.

Friends School of Minnesota is an excellent K-8 school of 162 students in the Midway neighborhood of St. Paul. It is a progressive education school grounded in the Quaker values of simplicity, peace, integrity, community and equality. Over twenty years old, FSM is known for its conflict resolution program, its commitment to environmental education and the warm, welcoming community.  Graduates are well-prepared for and attend public and independent high schools all over the Twin Cities.
