Oak Grove Primary Elementary School

I think this school is very large, but somehow not intimadating.  My young kindergartner is so enjoying it and there are TONS of parent opportunities for involvement.  It is what you amke of it and we choose to be very active and participate whenever possible.  I love the loopi g option to have the same teacher and classmates for K and 1st grade.

Tammy: OGP is a good school.  My 9 yo had a great teacher there and really loved going to school.  He became part of the Excel program due in part because of his teacher.  My 6 yo really loves going to school there.  Last year he had a teacher that "didn't understand his learning style" and he ended up having to repeat K.  I had him tested outside of the school system and he was diagnosed with Dyslexia.  The ball was dropped on him and he was "one child left behind".  This year he has a teacher that hopefully will be able to help him learn.  So far, so good.  The ball being dropped on my child last year is the reason I scored them as Average.
