Siwell Middle School Reviews
This school is by far the worst school I have ever encountered. The student are failing because the lack of the school's desire to discipline misbehaved students. They would rather instruct their teacher to give grades to students so that they would look good, knowing that the kids do not know the topic and have no desired to learn. The students even pick up on this because they refuse to turn in paperwork to complete assignments. Honestly, Jackson School District needs staff that are willing to help these kids learn instead of trying to be there just for the paycheck.
School is supportive of student achievement and educating children.
This school has gone downhill the last few years. A lot has to do with the administration at the school. When you have a teacher where the majority of the children are not understanding (algebra 1) and she does not care, then we have a problem. My child went from being underroll student because of this one class. He was also denied admission back into IB because of this teacher.
This will be my child's first year at Siwell, but I have heard some good things about Siwell. I need to know if there will be a chance to meet the teachers and others at the school. Someone told me that it was this past sunday? Will there be another meeting coming up....PTA,other. Looking forward to my child attending Siwell.
