Amite County School is an under-performing school and in need of some leadership. The principals don't seem to know what they are doing and their relationships with the students are too personal which has led to little or no respect for them. Discipline is a problems or should I say the lack of discipline is a problem. Discipline is not applied evenly across the board; they show favoritism towards certain students particularly athletes. I don't recommend moving your student into this district if they are academic achievers or have athletic abilities that might wager them a scholarship. Entire system needs overhauling...
