Marie Lay: Both of my children attend Freer Elementary and overall I think it's a good school. We like that it's close to home, that it's small so it has a more personal feel to it, and that the teachers and staff are overall very friendly. Academically my children seem to be doing quite well. I do wish they had more opportunities for enrichment or special classes/events -- but what there was in the past has pretty much been lost to budget cuts as I'm sure is prevalent everywhere right now.
