McCluer North High School has changed over the years. I graduated from this school in 1979. I was the Debutante Queen in 1978. I have three children who attended this school. My oldest has graduated. I still have two attending now; freshman and sophomore. One is in band and the other is in choir. Hopefully, the school will be able to help provide them with necessary funding to attend competitions, and other events. The parents will have to help make up the difference but, it would be worth it. I enjoyed the band concert Tuesday, May 11, 2010. It was fantastice and my son received his letter. Please try and keep these art activities going which has played a big role in their lives. When these kids find something that, they are interested in, they strive even more to continue with their education and becoming more successful in life. Overall this school is a lot better than some of the other North County Schools.
I attend this school and i can tell you it is very segrated.
