About This School
Universal Academy Islamic School (UAIS), previously Islamic School of Kansas City (ISKC), is an accredited school serving students in grades Pre-K to 12 in the Greater Kansas City, Missouri area. UAIS teachers are well-qualified, degreed Muslims who work alongside Missouri-certified teachers to facilitate the Missouri Virtual Instruction Program (MoVIP) curriculum which was developed by the Missouri Department of Education.
UAIS teachers utilize Quran, Sunnah and other Islamic resources to Islamicize the MoVIP curriculum thereby providing students with a holistic approach to teaching. UAIS also offers its own line of courses in Islamic Studies, Qur'an and Arabic as well as extracurricular activities, college preparatory & dual credit courses. As an added bonus, Allah has blessed UAIS this year with a certified Arabic teacher from Egypt to join the ranks of our group of experienced faculty.
