What is it?
The Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 are assessed in math and in grades 3 through 8 and 11 in communication arts. Districts have the option to assess students in science in grades 3, 7 and 10, and social studies in grades 4, 8 and 11 on a voluntary basi
How is it Scored?
Students receive a score of below basic, basic, proficient or advanced. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.

The Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) End-of-Course (EOC) assessments are used to measure a student's mastery of course-level standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
End-of-Course assessments are taken when a student has received instruction in Algebra I, Biology, English II and Government, regardless of grade.
How is it Scored?
Students receive a score of below basic, basic, proficient or advanced. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.
