I am proof that the alternative program works. However placing these students in an environment with people who are criminals shows the way the school district really feels about students that need the extra help. These children should not be punished for needs that extra help. It would seem that teachers, principals and staff are trying to hide these children and make themselves feel less like failures. They need to own up and fix things not make them worse!

I think they dont care about these kids who are struggling accademicaly at all,and once they get in trouble they aretold they are gonna go no where in life..it amazes me the things a teacher can say to a student these days..these kids need u when they get off track,and we as parents encourage at home and teach and reassure,then they go back 2 school feeling better,only to get knocked back down again. I wish they would take more time and Please offer the Alternative School again or our drop out rate is going to soar over the next few years....
