River Roads Lutheran School

anomie: The above review is dead on. A year later the school hasn't gotten any better. I parents continue to hold out hope the school will transform and become a viable place to educate your children. Now it's just a place for excellent child care! The students are diffidently not being educated. How can the teachers succeed when they instruct multiple subjects in every grade they have. The students who need special education have limited chance at being successful at another school because the have been shuffled along due to limited resources and poorly trained staff. I'm not sure why the are bankrupt!! where is the money going???? certainly not on educating these kids

Shonda Dunn: River Roads Lutheran School is a great place for children to grow.  We are a small school with caring teachers who go above and beyond the call of duty.  The students are involved in many positive activities which help them with their main subjects, like Reading, Math, Science and Social Studies.  It is a Christ centered environment and a place where I will recommend my kids to stay and any of my family and friend to bring their kids.  This school is accredited by the NLSA and the Non Public Accreditation Association since 2004.  It is an excellent example of an 'urban' Lutheran School and has been since 1869.  God's blessings are continuously with this school.  

I will not recommend River Road Lutheran School. They cannot keep a steady teacher. My child had four teachers in the fourth grade. There materials is outdated. You pay a computer fee and the computers dont work. The school is very unorganized. A poor choice for a lutheran education.
