The school has gone through some amazing changes and more are on the way. I see kids who want to learn, teachers who love to teach, administrators who believe in their community, and hope for the future! They have a new counseling program that helps kids who are really having a tough time and a great superintendent.

Steve: It's a terrible school system. Students are unmotivated and parental involvement generally involves everything negative. If you have the opportunity to send your child to Heart Butte I strongly suggest you go somewhere else. If you want to teach there I also suggest you go someplace else. I am not being bitter about this school.
