Bancroft Elementary School
I think this school's parking situation after school is horrifying. Only about 25 cars can fit in the school's 3 lane drive. It is full usually 30 min. before school even gets out. Cones are then placed in the entrance so no one can filter in as cars leave. This wouldn't be so bad but the security guard does not come move them until at least half the cars are gone. Every day it is a huge nightmare, and every day I find myself getting more and more angry! There is hardly anywhere else to park. There aren't enough side streets nearby. The parking lot in back is only for teachers. I tried parking there one day, but then I had to get a pass to get to my daughter's part of the building. Otherwise I would have to walk all the way around or trek through snow. Someone higher up in OPS needs to fix this ASAP!!!
