Central High School Reviews
My experience exactly.
Central by far is a unique school. I started in 1955-59. We have great teachers,
a good principal and a great curriculum. I majored in Art, enjoyed english, Mr.Rice,
general math, geometry, and algebra. Even lunch was over the top!! My favorite was spinach, cornbread, liver, mashed potatoes and gravy. (I need to make that at home.)
Our science teacher was very good. I had no problem dissecting a frog. It even
seemed like the natural thing to do. I say this because, a lady I know said at her
school they had to dissect a cat. We would have never been told to do that. She said she left.
I was a cheerleader, purple and white, fight, fight. Uniforms were free. Our team won most games. I bought season tickets my senior year.
I love going to this school. There are so many different types of students, and everyone has a group to fit into. People are generally respectful, staff is great, and I actually learn everyday. Whether it is in a math class or English 7-8. I love this school and would reccomend it to anyone.
