Mount Sierra Christian School Reviews
I am impressed everyday at what my daughter is learning at this school. The level of education at this institution is so far above that of the Douglas County public school system. My daughter is in first grade and is currently doing double digit carrying and borrowing math, cursive handwriting and can read at an incredible level. The time these teachers put into their students is amazing and the teacher to student ratio is awesome. I highly recommend this school to anyone who asks.
This school rocks. My granddaughter who is a second grader is learning about matter: solids, liquids and gases and what molecules are! She shocked me telling me that crushing a can was a physical change and mixing sugar and water is a chemical solution. I don't know of any public school kid that even gets this until about 4th or 5th grade. The staff is great! They push the kids to want to learn new things and help guide them to discover new things on their own. The whole school seems so engaging, even at the preschool level.
Outstanding education program with compassionate teachers that fully engage students at all levels. The kids at this school perform much better on standardized testing than they do in the public school environmnet.
