Harriet Treem Elementary School

i would never recommend any child to opt for this school.  The reality is that every evening 7 days a week, including Easter Sunday 2012 our family receives 1 or up to 3 automated marketing, bulletins and solicitation calls from the clark county school district 799-8760 up till 9pm and even spanish language auto messages that have been so frequent, harrassing and completely un-necessary (our family doesnt speak spanish by the way) i have had to change my home # 3 times this school year, and i am forced to disclose my home # to office so this auto solicitation messages do no continue to call my work # or my cell #, and i was written up at my job because of these calls from Treem Elementary auto messages day & night, and i plan to file a case with the school district, because all of the parents are forced to include a home or evening phone# in students file in case of emergency , such as when my child was missing from his 1st grade class because another teacher came up to him and led him to the 4th grade line up on his first day of school because my son is very tall for his age of 6, and my child was sitting in a 4th grade class most of the day , scared and nervous and the school office called us and actually accused us of keeping our son absent on his first day of school even though we were there for 30 minutes with him , met his teacher, met other students and parents and witnessed the daily announcements and lineup proceedures , and spoke with his teacher for 5 minutes and signed the attendance sheet and filled out the parent/teacher contact forms with teacher.  this school has no parent volunteer or participation program, and they have the worst fundraisers ever, and my child is now threatened with being held back in the first grade because of the poor teaching skills this school prides themselves on, what a joke,  i have many other parents with the same complaints and we plan on pursuing action against this school.

i think about this school is they have nice teachers there  and they hepl my child division and all that stuff and my child is lucky she is at that school
