This is a five star school and I think the teaching staff is great, however the woman that works in the front office is a witch. We all know that in Vegas when it rains for over a day there is a ton of deathly flooding in town. I call to check and see if afternoon preschool is cancelled, and the response I get is "We don't cancel school EVER over a little rain" Okay thanks for making my question sound so stupid and be completely rude. Yet, just last week my daughter is tought by the nevada water disctrict about flood saftey, lol!!! She didn't need to be so rude to me, if you don't want to answer phones when concerned parents call, don't work in the front office of a elementary school. I try to avoid the front office as much as possible because she has the same nasty attitude whenever you need something. She talks down to people like they are stupid, she's disrespectful to parents.
The school year has just started but already I can tell it’s going to be a horrible year. There has been a big change in the attitudes of the Faculty. They are short tempered, and quick to accuse/ discipline without judging all parties involved. This last is worse in the "Specials" Teachers, where every day my kids come home to tell me how cranky their specials teacher was. My son loved school last year, now he hates going because he has become the class scapegoat, He’s only in second grade. Fifth grade isn't any better. "The Stepford" teachers seem to be more concerned with how they look then with their classes. We are trying to move out of this zone as fast as we can, If you are considering coming to this school don’t.
