A CONCERNED MOM-John s park IS A BAD SCHOOL the teachers are rude and they like to put there hands on the kids. They have a pac and the teachers never want to help the parents raise money for the school. most of the teachers at park hate thier job. The kids there get treated like no matter what they do in class they are going to fail. The princible only cares about awards. They have to many award ceramonies ,and the kids that dont get awards still have to sit there and watch the other kids get awards. To me thats just messed up to make kids feel bad because thier not as good as the rest of the kids. When my son first went to this school he loved it but now hes so stressed out that he cries everyday. I dont think this is a good school or kids that have problems reading because they treat them like thier stupid and give them a F no matter how hard they try! I can go on for days but I think you should never let your kid go to this school.

~Marie~: This is my first year as a teacher at John S. Park. It is the first school in all my years of teaching, that has a very friendly staff as well as plenty of teacher support. The work is hard but, with all the support I have gotten, I am not totally overwhelmed as is often the case in a first year situation. My students are the best and the parents are very nice people. The administration is kind, considerate and very helpful.
The neighborhood, though older, is well kept by mostly single family owners and renters. Overall, a nice place to raise your kids.
