Lewis E Rowe Elementary School Reviews
Amazing! Glad to have had the chance to go back!
The teachers at Rowe Elementary School are amazing! The 2014-2015 school year brought big change with a new principal, new assistant principal, and a new staff. To open the school year, they hosted a picnic Fiesta with a real mariachi band! They also hosted a Fall Carnival, Spring Carnival, several family nights, and a 50th Anniversary Celebration. The students are making great progress, the whole staff appear happy, and the parents are finally part of the school community. I am so happy for the new programs they are starting and I'm so happy with the new administration and the positive change they are bringing back to the school. Every day begins with a morning assembly, where students sing American patriotic songs, take 30 seconds for prayer/moment of silence/meditation, say the Pledge, and yell class cheers. The school even celebrates their spirit with cheering a school song on school spirit Fridays. Expectations have risen, negative behaviors appear to be decreasing (still need more parent support and involvement), and overall, Lewis E. Rowe ES is the best! I can't wait to see what they do next year!
smaller classes, less stress for the teachers,an more kids will learn
750 kids to 21 teachers??????????????????????????????????? why can't anyone see a problem with this, get a clue !!!!
I think Lewis E Rowe is a great school. My sons 1st grade teacher has absolutely worked beyond what she is expected to help. The Counselor is exceptional as well. I know some staff are not as helpful at times, a little jaded maybe but in my overall experience they are much better then his old school Cozine which has a better overall rating in Las Vegas, Nevada.
