School Mission Statement
Mountain View Christian Schools (MVCS) is a Preschool through 12th grade private school located on 20 acres in the Northeast area of Las Vegas. MVCS has been serving our Las Vegas community since 1983 and features a college-preparatory curriculum and extensive electives program. We also offer a comprehensive athletics program that features a gymnasium with weight room, and 8-acre athletic complex with baseball, football, and softball fields.
Students at MVCS participate in a variety of community service projects such as Toys for Tots, Salvation Army, HELP of Southern Nevada, MASH Village, Habitat for Humanity, Las Vegas Rescue Mission, Shade Tree, Child Haven and Ronald McDonald House.
Programs and services offered by MVCS:
• Leadership Institute
• College Preparatory Curriculum and extensive elective program
• Athletics
• Fine Arts: MVCS offers a multi-level instruction where any student at any level has the chance to become involved in fine arts. MVCS offers Art, Band, Media, Web-design, Dance, Sequential Art, Culinary, Theater, Photography, and Music. MVCS students perform in concerts, plays, festivals (including our annual “Imageo Deo” Fine Arts Festival) and competitions. The MVCS Symphonic Band has been the featured performers at special Las Vegas community events.

• International Students: MVCS students not only come from every part of the Las Vegas Valley, they also come from all over the world. Our school has been home to students from Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America.
• Nursery School: In 2010, MVCS began accepting nursery age children and providing a much needed service to current and prospective MVCS families.
