Pamela: I know this school inside and out. The teachers are very concerned about their students and go the extra mile to help them out. All junior highs have issues but Cadwallader is a safe and good school for our children.

At this time I would recommend that you try to get your student into a different school. Although it is my understanding that the current principal is leaving at the end of this school year 2012. This school has become a "punish the many for the sins of the few" type of school. Role models in the form of upper administration is a joke. The teachers do as well as they can, at least the permanent teachers. They can only do so much when being stifled by supervisors. This school also has a serious problem with rotating substitute teachers and long time subs that may or may not know the subject matter. If I could rate 1/2 a star I would, I believe a full star is too much

this school is not a good place for my child all. All the uniforms,really?
and the lunchlines my son is talking about. all the 8th graders have been making fun of him.we've already spent so much money on uniforms!i am not happy.

cadwalleder is a good school its hard to find tsuff wrong with it an you cant rate down the school for the students because you cant control them but ssa is horrible which keeps it from being a 5 star

i think this school should do something about the uniforms.The kids dont like them.If the kids are uncomfortable in the uniforms than that affects there learning.

My child has been going there for 2 years and she has done great in her classes and has always felt safe. Sure every now and again there is an incident, a fight, a stolen phone but nothing crazy and out of control. Uniforms are a great idea when not taken to extreme (socks and shoe color restriction?!), there will always be gangs because its a national problem not just a community issue. However when you have school with proactive parents and administration such as Cad; that's where you can minimize the problem. I would definitely recommend this school.

Ralph Cadwallader Middle School
This school is not that bad. Actually it's pretty great. Some parents and just over protective. There one of the top schools in the county. There principle and vice principle are both the principle and vice principle of the year in all of clark county. Every school has fights and this one has barely any. IT's in a really good neighborhood too. IT's an absolutely great and high achieving school.

Eric: There's a lot of boys smoke weed at this school, almost my sons whole bus does. This school is so bad with the gangs that the public that's right PUBLIC school has uniforms to prevent gang violence. One kid broke a kids nose and 3 days later was back at school. I'm moving my son the a private school after what happened recently...Don't Send your kids to this school!!!!
