Silverado High School
I don't see nor do I hear of any real problems with Silverado High School. Both of my children attend/ed there.

The Administors at this school really need to deal with certain teachers and coaches, when you have a coach tell you(the parent) right to your face, that your son wasn't picked for the team because he and the other coaches think it's a waste of their time to work with him because they he won't progress any further this year or next year, but he can try out again next year but he won't even be considered to be a part of any of the teams. really?? how does one get away with this??

i thought as a parent that i must pick a high for my kids that will allow them equal opp. i seach for the school, before i seach for the home..this school was my second choice...i enroll my kids (9th@10th)..big mistake..i attended meeting with the princ. once a month...visit classes room....still couldnt spend enough time on campus soo my kids would not be single out..just to have more issue then expected....what i learned is that this side of town have kids that have drugs problem or how the label it (trying to find themselves) while the other side have kids that has behavioral issue or as they label it (gangs and drug dealers)..i feel some of those staff days should be diversity days..

arlene: Coaches need to not get in these kids faces and curse at them at practice, once again things going on and no one does anything about it!!!!! seriously SHS administrators, please do your jobs!!!!!!! this should not be allowed!!!!!!

Arlene: Administrators have no regards to us parents, they don't care what we have to say, the basketball coach himself has made very bad comments to parents and students, and no one does anything about it. very dissatisfied with school, it's staff and administrators.

Very Badly operated school, basketball coah chooses favorites and teachers talk down to kids, and make very discrimantory remarks to kids as well. horrible school
