The Administors at this school really need to deal with certain teachers and coaches, when you have a coach tell you(the parent) right to your face, that your son wasn't picked for the team because he and the other coaches think it's a waste of their time to work with him because they he won't progress any further this year or next year, but he can try out again next year but he won't even be considered to be a part of any of the teams. really?? how does one get away with this??

M: this school is all around Terrible. In my 4 years there i only respected a few teachers (Wesemann and Heater mostly). the education here is a joke half of the classes are just show up and you pass, i barely showed up to some classes after awhile and i still passed with a b average. the administrators all need to be fired, especially fisher. thats not all the worst employees at that school are anyone who has anything to do with coaching no matter what it is, they pour on the work for some but leave their special jockstraps an A and no work.
Unfortunately, the staff itself is far from the worst thing about that school. when it was almost like the standard H.S. experience until the later years when the school became flooded with assholes and jersey shore F***s.

i thought as a parent that i must pick a high for my kids that will allow them equal opp. i seach for the school, before i seach for the home..this school was my second choice...i enroll my kids (9th@10th)..big mistake..i attended meeting with the princ. once a month...visit classes room....still couldnt spend enough time on campus soo my kids would not be single out..just to have more issue then expected....what i learned is that this side of town have kids that have drugs problem or how the label it (trying to find themselves) while the other side have kids that has behavioral issue or as they label it (gangs and drug dealers)..i feel some of those staff days should be diversity days..

Aaron: If your kid can't handle coaches pushing them at practice then how are they supposed to respond in the real world when people's jobs and money are on the line. Kids need to follow instructions and be pushed by their coaches and when they succeed the coached at silverado are right there to pat them on the back. SHS admin can't do anything about a kid being yelled at during football practice. That's why Silverado's sports teams are good.

Arlene: Administrators have no regards to us parents, they don't care what we have to say, the basketball coach himself has made very bad comments to parents and students, and no one does anything about it. very dissatisfied with school, it's staff and administrators.

The High School Proficiency Examination (HSPE) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.

Students are assessed in reading, math and writing in grade 10. Students can retake the test in grade 11 if they do not pass in grade 10.
