They are unprofessional, no people skills and the only words they know is "No" and "I don't know". BEWARE they suck royally

Epic Fail

I am a parent of a 6th grader, who I had to pull out of Sedway 2013-2014 school year because of being bullied by other students. Finally we had enough. BTW this was in a special needs class too. Do yourself a favor and do your homework. If I had we would have never been there in the first place.

Great, could use improvement

I'm currently a 7th grade student here and I love it. The schools motto, "Hard work equals fun times at Sedway," is 100% true. In order for you to have fun you must work hard. Dr. Robbins commits his time in helping and educating these students. The 8th graders here are top in the state, you improve each year. Sure it could use some work, some fights, the language, but that's gonna happen at any public school. If you can get past the  not as bright students... You succeed in this school. The fine arts program is AMAZING. The orchestra director, Mrs. Adams, is great. I highly recommend her and this school.

Honestly this is a terrible school. There's always fights going on, girls against girls or boys against boys. The teachers dont really care about your grades. I do not recomend tris school!

so far this is my daughters first year in 6th grade and I feel like we haven't been informed enough about this school, we feel open house was a mess and we weren't explained enough with the schedule's and how it all works out and not enough information regarding after school programs and the web page is out date. I sure hope all this gets sorted out, so my DD has a wonderful school year, I also wish we got email addresses for each teacher so you can respond to if there is a home work issue...

Well other than all these other parents what they think of Sedway is not true! The staff is incredible! I know this cause I been to this school for 3 years! And it's fantastic. Goodbye Sedway and thank for all the good years you gave me! :)

I attended the choir recital tonight and was appalled at the children’s behavior and general disrespect of the main choir during the other choir groups performances. What was even more shocking was the lack of effort and inability of the staff and teachers to control the student’s behavior. If this is how the school is run on a daily basis it is completely understandable why this school last not met the no child left behind minimum requirements. The staff is worthless from what I have seen and what my child deals dayly at this school.

I am disapointed in the leadership of this middle school. Some of the hired instructors lack any kind of commitment towards their student's progress or education. Parentlink is not consistently updated to help support the parents with key information needed to monitor thier children's progress. Some of the staff lack professionalism or empathy. There is no succesful source of empowering the students to become better citizens and to aim to pursue a college education.

i think the school needs more supervision and better education tools

I think sedway middle school needs some improvement with their policy of suspending kids without investiagateing when it is not a fight and deans are to lazy to look further in to the siuation because its toward the end of the year. I am not saying i dont like sedway it just needs MAJOR improvement.
Sedway needs to help the kids understand what wrong if they have a problem with their work, dont understand it or other kids are pulling them away from work with inappropiate language or disrespectful talk.
