Richard C. Priest Elementary School Reviews
I attended this school ever since it first opened. I am going to be in highschool this year, sophomore. I loved this school when I was little, everyone is friendly and all the teachers know each one of the students name. I actually volunteer at this school as a student aid. I know this school inside and out and it is the perfect school for 1-5.
I have had 2 of my children attend Richard C Priest from kindergarden this school is the best school the principal is great she goes above and beyond her duties. She knows all the kids by name all 878. I couldn't have ask for a better school. They have so many field trips out of town that she pushes for. She is retiring this year She will be missed Greatly
This school does not do anything about kids being bullied. My son has been punched in the face by one kid, put in a chocking headlock by another kid, his clothes have been ripped by another kid and he has been pushed around by a different kid while being called racial names because he is white and all thees bullies are not. They said they were going to pay for the clothes that were ripped but they never did. My son never had a problem at his previous school.
It is a wonderful school, the Principal is a very caring person. My daughter was being bullied at a catholic school she attended, St Joseph School, and neither the Principal or the teachers did anything to stop it. Now my daughter is so happy her grades have improved and she really want to go to school everyday, she tells every one Priest is the best school in Las Vegas!!
I love this school. They provide extras for our kids to make them have high goals for life. The parents of this school need to step up though and take responsability for there children. Sit down and do homework, read, and teach them life skills that matter. The school is not a day care center. The teachers and staff can do only so much, they need help from families.
Wonderful school with great learning opportunities for students!!!!
