Darrell C Swope Middle School Reviews
This school was good. But everytime I needed help I would aways get ignored and personally didnt get good grades because of some things they didnt do for me. I tried so hard but they personally didnt care they only cared about the smart and popular kids, I am so glad I can move on and entirelly forget they didnt do any thing for me. When I obviously needed to get in better classes not lowered I needed special education, I didn't get it. School was always better for me with strict teachers that wanted you to learn me personally only got one of those all the others were laid back and just sitting around trying but not fairly getting things done.
I think that this school is by far one of my favorite schools. You have great administration, and mostly everything you learn about there is hands on learning. Our CRT scores rise each year leaving more and more room for improvment, and alot of new kids to associate with. Swope provides many different classes that you can take. And many of them provide chances to gain highschool credits while an 8th grader.
Swope is a great school my children
Swope Middle school is amazing!
I hate swope!
It's so boring and there are no fun days at all
im in eighth grade and my seventh grade year was amazing i loved it... i would like to say for anybody who is going to swope this year or next, be sure to try and get on the team that has mrs sheldon and mac on it, if not try cambel also talk to the counselers everyday.. not just for problems but because there the coolest counslers that you will ever meet in my opinion, aslo the coolest teachers.
My child said that at Swope Middle School he doesn't learn a thing. He is very bored and wants to switch schools. I give this school 1/2 star. I do not recommend this school to anyone!
Swope is alright, but it's not very clean and appropriate for new 7th graders. When I was in 7th grade, I was traumatized at how the students acted, how some of the teachers acted, the gum all over the place, the graffitti, the retched language, the bullying, etc. My elementary school was Caughlin Ranch and I set my standard very high of schools. Caughlin Ranch was a great school, clean, polite, the students are polite, the organization, the academics are suberb, I set my standards to Caughlin Ranch and Swope does not make up to it.
The ALM program is good. The program is probably one of the only things that I was satisfied with. The teachers are amazing especially the history teacher, Mr.Bodensteiner and Mrs. Campbell.
