Lemmon Valley Elementary School Reviews
My child has attended Lemmon Valley Elementary School for a few years now. The teachers I have encountered have all been caring and creative. With falling test scores and continued decline in parent involvement we have adopted uniforms. At a parent meeting to vote on uniforms, it seemed no was the favored answer. Weeks later we received word the vote had come back yes with no totals included. There could not have been more than 50 parents at said meeting to decide the fate of the school uniform policy. To date there has been no mention of how the uniform money was to be spent. Nor the total value of the uniforms. Likely in the thousands range with 500 plus students. No results can be given as far as bullying or improved test scores with new uniforms. I have talked with many parents about many different issues at our school.
I love this school. The best teachers I could recommend are Mr. Freguson (5th) and Mrs. Woods (6th). I love the music that Ms. Childs taught us. And the principal is awesome! Reno's best elementary school! But in second is Desert Heights. Both good but Lemmon Valley is way better!
My kids have attended Lemmon Valley Elementary School for 6 years. It is nice to see them making positive changes for the future. Could be a little more organized and better communication between parents and teachers
This will be my daughter's second year going to Lemmon Valley and she seems to be enjoying it and loved her teachers.
My boyfriend's son also went here for 1st grade. He started out behind and finished right at a first grade level. The teachers were wonderful with him and very patient.
My children have gone to Lemmon Valley Elementary School for three years. I find it to be a great school with excellent teachers. My children excel in this school and the school seems to be improving itself every year. Sharon Cline
