The King's Academy Reviews
A great school
This is a fantastic school. It is NOT seventh day adventist. They use the ABecka curriculum which is rather challenging. Students are tutored free of charge if they need extra help. All the teachers love the kids!
The King's Academy is not Seventh Day Adventist. It is a ministry of Sierra Bible Church which is an Evangelical Church.
This is a great school with a great principal. The teachers see the potential in every child and help them acheive greatness. The classes have less than 15 kids so each child receives individual attention. When you enter the school, you feel the joy. We had our children tested and they are reading at 2 grades ahead.
We moved our children from a catholic school to this school. It has been tremendous. The class sizes are small, the teachers are great and understand the needs of each child. It is a great school. The chidlren and parents are kind and respectful and welcome new families with open arms. Parent involvement is encouraged.
My girls have been at King's Academy for the past 3 years and are currently in 3rd and 5th grades. The school is phenominal and the teaching staff is top-notch. The tuition is very reasonable and a good value for the eduation that they receive. There is only one complaint that I do have and that has to do with the way that the staff deals with conflict that arises between the students. It seems that their method is to simply ignore that there is conflict...this is, I think, particularly damaging to little girls, as most of the conflict that occurs in "silent" in a way (not punching or kicking) and can do signficant emotional and psychological harm if undealt with. That being said, I would recommend King's Academy.
