JenniferWS: I would rate this school a 1. My child is currently enrolled in Kindergarten. He has always been an avid learner and very curious. Since school has started he has hated going and complains about being bored. It is a struggle to get him there every morning, tears are shed daily. He also does not enjoy to read now, though he would read pattern books to me all the time before he went to kinder. I have volunteered this year once a week, and this has helped my son want to go to school. Though there is some good practices the teacher has, she is not very communicative with parents, and there is not enough authentic writing and true engagement to keep these young minds growing and learning. I have supplemented his education with work a friend of mine sends me who is a kindergarten teacher. I have been very disappointed in the quality of education he is receiving. It has been a very stressful year transitioning my son into school, and I had hoped for more help.
