To the person who posted about being shocked this school does not call parents when their child is absent...Um, hello. You are the parent of an elementary student. You are the one responsible for notifying the school of your child's absence. It isn't a high school where kids normally skip school.
This is a great school. We are very pleased with the teachers, administration and the curriculum. We don't own a house in the zone, but when we recently had to move, it was of utmost importance that we remain within the zone so that our 2 children could continue to attend this school. My only complaint would be that the lower grades don't really have any extra fun activities like band or science programs.

I am shocked to find out that this school isn't calling parents when their cjild is absent from school. This is a critical safety issue that needs to be enforced.
