Crotched Mountain School Reviews
I am realizing through cut backs, Crotched Mountain School's course offerrings are very limited and no longer competitive. Very over priced with such limitations. The school has let HQT teachers go due to reduction in force and therefore does not have many HQT's. A number of teachers either are working towards teaching certificates and/or recieved their teaching certificates through alternative programs while teaching. The school population has not only changed with the times, but has dwindled tremendously. Who are the experienced mentors within the school and do they have the time to adaquately assist the alternative teachers. I also question the safety of students and staff with their new Cedars Point program. The students in that program require a very structured program and one that does not mix with the general population for obvious safety reasons. My last comment is that the staff coverage for the behaviorally challenged students is inadequate, these students are not provided the 1 to 1 coverage they need--except at a cost to the other students. Where is Crotched Mountain School going?
