Kingston Children's Center
My child attended KCC for 9 years on and off since he was six weeks old. I loved it there for years but unfortunately things have changed so much in the past few years with the administration that it doesn't have the same loving atmosphere. It's become obvious from comments that have been let slip that the teachers are unhappy and worry for their jobs. I've hated to see the downturn but from someone who was a staunch supporter of KCC I can no longer recommend this school.

Kingston Children's Center
My daughter has attended KCC since she was 2 years old and she is now 6 and going to First Grade in the Fall.
My daughter has been extremely happy at the school and has built some wonderful relationships with both staff and students. The teachers are caring and sensitive and pay particular attention to each child's needs. She has learnt so much !! Not only her ABC's but how to be a good friend, care about animals and our planet, being respectful to others, learning about different cultures around the world, trying new foods, singing, dancing, karate, sign language, trips to the local library, field trips to farms, museums .......the list goes on !!
Yes the building may appear a little shabby and I'm sorry that one parents first impression was not so good. My father who is a strict English man was also put off at first but after many visits to KCC and volunteering fot a field trip with my daughters class his heart was truely warmed by the relationships the teachers have with the kids and how apparent it is that they do really care about each one. Lastly she had FUN, FUN, FUN and never once has she said she didn't want to go to school.

Kingston Children's Center
Kingston Children's Center is a gem of a school. My daughter went there several years ago and our relationship with the staff and parents was one that was really special. Yes, the building is older, and yes, it needed some touch-ups here and there. It was the teachers and the administration that made me want to stay. This school is funded by the United Way. They rely largely on donations and volunteer work on the building and grounds. I learned quite by accident that some of the teachers actually bought some of their own materials for class. This level of care really moved me. I am proud to say we were part of this school.

I am a parent of two children in the Kingston Children's Center in Kingston and love it there. The care my kids receive is excellent and the teachers are very caring. My children are very happy and safe there and I would strongly recommend this daycare. I am very particular and although the center is an older building and needs some TLC, I do know each night I arrive to pick up my children they are disinfecting and cleaning the rooms.

Maria: I recently took a tour of the center, upon entering I was not greeted and or acknowledged. I told myself to not judge just yet well upon taking a tour I found it to be a cold atmosphere. , I also was a little shock with the condition. I understand its a very old building but thats no rason for it to smell and be so dirty (DINGY). I finished the tour which I felt rushed telling myself I could not leave my son here. For rating the center I can only rate what I experienced. Seems to be very poorly run, I would be very worried about people just coming into the school who do not belong.
