Simonds Elementary School Reviews
Don't let the test rating fool you. This is a great little school where teachers have very small classes and try to customize to the student's needs. Special needs kids are given the resources they need and advanced students are challenged in many different ways. Class sizes are 10-15 students which allows for close parent-teacher interaction if desired. The principal is an excellent administrator with many years of experience, and the same goes for the office manager. The food service in the district is very good with an emphasis on healthy and local foods! A student can do as well as they want here. My fifth grader went all the way to the state spelling bee and other students have gone to the state geography bee, participated in recycling programs, submitted art into contests, etc. The PTO is very active for a little school and, overall, I couldn't be more pleased!
