1st Cerebral Palsy of NJ Reviews
My opinion of this school
Hi I am a former student of the 1st Cerebral palsy of Nj and i just want to say that you guys helped me the most. I started when I was 5 and ended when I was 7. You guys taught and helped me do things that i have no problem with today. I just want to say that you for the amazing oppourtunity you have given me to aspire and do things in life I was told I would never be able to get to do. I want to than all of you guys for supporting me and treating me like a normal kid. That was a experience i will never forget. Thank you for all your time and patience with me. You are the reason why now I attend a regular school and do the things that they do. I am 14 years old now and I am an 8th grade preparing to go to high school next year. I also play soccer and volley ball as well and I can do anything the other kids do as well. This is school is based on dreams and aspiring them. I wouldn't be where i am right now if it wasn't for the things you guys helped me and achieve my goals. I can not thank you guys enough. I can honestly say that this school has made me who I wanted to be and be proud to have cerebral palsy. Anyone one with this diease should go there and achieve their dreams. I love you guys so much. Thanks again.
The 1st Cerebral Palsy of NJ in Belleville, NJ is an amazing school. The amount of therapy the children are provided on an individual bases and all the activities the children are able to be involved in together in a small group is truly a blessing. From Life Skills groups, to sensory-motor groups, speech therapy, occupational therapy (including an impressive OT-gym, physical therapy (including a PT-gym and swimming pool, feeding therapy, yoga, hippo therapy, etc the students are learning in such a fantastic and dynamic way. This school is a hidden gem for all types of disabled children (autistic included), its a shame that more parents and districts aren't sending their students here.
