I feel that if a school does not meet AYP then the staff should be replaced. They are not doing their jobs and our children are suffering. Should we just sit around and say it doesn't matter because we like a certain teacher. Then you are shortchanging our kids. I have seen so many teachers lax with the city kids. It is as though they don't care after a point. Children who don't want to learn are never identified instead the good students are forced to leave. The administration must be replaced if our children are not learning, regardless of the reason. Yes it does start at home, but they are paid to achieve a goal and they failed! Something must change!
