I am not pleased at all with the edison school district. If you have a special needs child, they are more in tuned with the cost of educating them, than they are about actually educating them. I have met many adults that have graduated from the edison schools, and they are still on fifth grade levels are lower. The solution that edison school district has for their lack of equipment, or procedures to educate students is to send them to vocational school for a trade to make it in the job market. What if they break an arm, or lose a limb? They are not educated on what is next. This school district is a disgrace to what an education is. Ask any of them what does the "No child left behind " law means, and they don't really have a clue. Trust me I ask it at every IEP meeting, and they all have a misconception to say the least. Two thumbs down for Edison school district. They need to know that the children are not an commodity, but the future of the community ..

Lindeneau is a fantastic school! My daughter is in the 4th grade and has enjoyed everything about the school from the amazing teachers to the PTO planned family activities. It is a VERY positive environment for children. The Principal actually gets to know each and every student because she cares about them 100%. The curriculum is the same for ALL edison elementary schools and in my opinion is very good. Homework is given out and is based on what is or is not covered in class. The teachers are so good that most information is learned in class and the homework is just a review so the kids aren't doing it for 2 hours a night! My son is now in Kindergarden and loves school. They create such a fun learning environment for them. This is one of the best in Edison!
