Fort Dix Elementary School

Jill Wolf: Fort Dix Elementary School is very unique because all of our children are from military families.  We have children from age 3 to 11.  Our children experience all the same difficulties as other children plus the added challenge of living for months at a time with one or both parents deployed over seas.  Our school has created an atmosphere of caring and compassion for these children who are experiencing a huge life altering crisis.  To a child 3 to 11, living without a parent is the most difficult challenge he/she can face.  We also support the spouse who is left behind with the stressful task of being both mother and father to the family.  Fort Dix strives to be a second family to our military families!
