My daughter is in her first year, and we are looking forward to the many years she has to come. Her teacher Miss. Mioli, makes certian that she is able to find projects that will challenge my daughter, which I found was not done in the public school for my son until he hit 3rd grade. It is sad that they are running a yr behind him, or I would have him in the High School in a minute!

Pros.:Overall happy with the performance and dedication of the teachers.
School promotes Science ,Math and Arts. Kids are motivated with Quaterly rewards ., Science Fairs and Olympiads , extra Tutions.
Cons: Appreciations become burden to parents when the school provides excessive awards to kids... like today the Basketball tickets for only Straight A's... when kids have B's or C's they are neglected by the administration with these type of tickets to games are provided ...and dress down days for only A's and B's and not C's. This kind of awarding the kids will not motivate the kids , it would only make the rest of the kids feel insecure in front of their friends.
Kindly focus only on improving the education standards as it is now.
To make it more clear , We are overall happy with the school
performances , But some activities like these are frustrating to the parents .

Admission process is not transparent after the lottery drawing. The school does not notify the parents of their position on the waiting list. For those parents who inquire on the status of their child on the waiting list, the position of their child on the waiting list changes, for the worse. My child was moved from number 3 to number 57 with no explanation. I am still waiting on a call from the Director.

BASCS is by far the best school my son attended, my younger son will be attending in September. The Teachers are friendly, and they work hard to see each child succeed. I am happy to be apart of BASCS

The school has so much to offer. Not only are the classes challenging and interesting for my 2 young scholars, but the children are performing well in class and on standardized tests. They have many specials, and multiple language offerings. The best part is that they offer so many intelligent and well planned activities for the children in class, on trips, and after school, including contests, academic competitions with other schools, sporting events, choirs, theatrical events, and the list goes on. The school even partners with Institutes of advanced learning to teach and inspire the children. (Like NJIT) I can't complain.
