South Harrison Elem. School is an amazing school. It is a public elementary school yet has a private school atmosphere. Caring teachers, responsive administrators, and a proactive Board of Education result in programs that enable all students to learn. An active Home and School organization as well as community organizations (e.g. SHAEE) work with the school in providing enriching, meaningful assemblies and after-school clubs. In addition, South Harrison provides opportunities for students, parents, and community members to utilize the building for after-school, evening, and community events.
