good size classes

Melissa: This school was terrible. I had to pull my son out of this school becasue he was injured by security staff. I have read the other review as well and all I have to say is it is completely true. It is chaos in the hallways that scares me. My son was screaming in pain for them to stop twisting his arm and neck  and they refused even with me there. He was being compliant and did not threaten them in any way. According to my son and his friend, he got restrained because he would not give the security staff his $400 phone. I have already talked to the principal about his phone becase last year one of the security staff broke his phone and it was never replaced, and the principal told me and my son that he did not have to hand it in. It is also true about the racial discrimination over 90% of the students are black and VERY DISRESPECTFUL. My son never treats the staff with disrespect and somehow is treated like a monster. Even his teacher and friends say he is VERY respectful to all of the staff there. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL IT REALLY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!!

This school is terrible. Mainly because the security guards there do not know where to keep thier hands and neglect to listen to the students when they say they will cooperate. The academics are far from "on par" with mainstream school as they have my son doing 6th grade work when he is a senior. Another problem is the students... Atleast 90% of them are black or hispanic and most of them are in gangs and will not listen to the staf there. I DO NOT recommend sending your children here under ay circumstances. It is a VERY BAD SCHOOL!
