Badr School Reviews
Badr School is an established school in both Islamic education and academics. The curriculum is based on the New Jersey State Core Standards. As for the Islamic education and values, Badr School upholds strong morals and beliefs. Terra Nova scores have shown that our students in all grade levels from kinder to 8th grade are way above grade level! Alhamdiallah as a parent of 4 children who are attending and have graduated from Badr, they have gained the best foundation in academics and Islamic values. As proof, my eldest daughter who is beginning her second year in an Islamic High School, has been inducted into the Beta Society and is prevailing in her academics. Her Quran and Arabic education is further advanced than any of her peers-- due to the foundation at Badr. As for the teachers, we can consider them second parents when your child is dropped off in the morning. Their dedication and hard work throughout the day and even after school hours is what molded your child for those seven hours. Every child is unique and so is every teacher. Yet, there is a balance that does and can occur. The link missing out of this triangle are the parents. Being an educator myself, I know first hand that without the cooperation and communication with the parents, a child's education will not move forward. Education is not only reading and writing-- it is also socialization and dealing with the emotions of a child. As for those parents who condemn any educational institution, here are a few questions for you: Are you an active part in your child's education? Have you made yourself available to the administration and your child's teacher? Have you followed up with your child's homework/projects? Did you attend parent meetings and report card sessions? To those parents that did-- JazakaAllah for your support! For those who did not, it is time to stop blaming and start re-thinking what really matters. Our children need a strong academic and most importantly Islamic foundation. AlhamdiAllah when I am asked about Badr School, I am proud to say that I am a parent, educator, and Principal of Badr School!
Badr shool is an excellent school in both academic and islamic studies. It has less issues than most of the public and islamic school in the area. It as a very high grade in Treanova testes which shows how good the school is. I have 2 kids in the school and I'm very satisfied. The teacher are a lot better than they used to be 5 years ago. Sceince fairs show the potential of the kids. I believe they will have their own website to show its credits. I really thanks Allah for giving me the opportunity to place my kids in this school. My third kid will join next year too.
Don't waste your time when I was there they had unqualified teachers and many personal issues with this school. In my opinion, I think I have great potential, and Badr (more like badder) school didn't give me opportunities. I am in a new school this year, called Miftaah Al Uloom Academy, which is the best school I've been to, and I think I have great potential here. PLEASE DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR PRICE! ITS NOT WORTH IT! DON'T PUT YOUR KIDS HERE, PLEASE!!!!!!!!
I think Badr is an excellent islamic school. But the teachers have to stop beating the students.
this school is a perfect school for teaching manners and religion.also, the education is much better than other schools .the kids get the best education in jersey city
