3-7 year olds

Since 1974, A Child’s Place School offers children age 3-7 a safe, dynamic, and rewarding educational experience.  A Child’s Place is a private school with a low teacher-student ratio.  We have many different classes available to suit each child and parent’s needs.  Play is an integral part of each child’s school day at A Child’s Place. We believe that children need time to play, to learn, and to construct knowledge. Skills and concepts are developed and enhanced through child-initiated and teacher-initiated activities. A Child's Place School has been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) since 1993.  Please call for more details.

One of the best choices I made in my life was to send my children to ACP.  It totally changed my way of thinking about education and parenting.  With this change, I am a better parent and my kids, as a result of going to ACP and having me parent in their philosophy, are confident and self assured in what they do.

My 5-year-old is in his second year at A Child’s Place, and we could not be happier. This school has helped turn my son into a confident, curious and happy child, who is excited to go to school each day. The sense of community that A Child's Place offers helps my entire family be a part of the learning process. I cannot wait for our 1-year-old to attend.

"This school has absolutely changed my son's life! He is a brilliant kid who has a learning disability, and the staff absolutely understands his situation and teaches the way he learns! They are so insightful, understanding and capable, I feel lucky that we are part of that community."

"They have a newly built building which is absolutely gorgeous and very well laid out. In general the staff is caring, but firm. Only bad thing is that parent involvement is not encouraged. Yet!!"
