Diane: This is an academic school, so there are no athletic programs available which I feel there should be.  As far as gifted and talented programs, I feel this really discourages some children and makes them feel they are not good enough or smart enough to be accepted in the program.  Each child is different and learns differently.  

The teachers are very helpful and the principal, Sister Theresa,  is the nicest person I've ever known in a school system.  She really assists in making sure your child gets the best help possible, in all aspects of life.   I really appreciate Sister Theresa's assistance.   As a parent, I get involved in my child's education and it really helps when you show interest.
