Number 8 School Reviews
This is a school which is improving in all areas. The staff and students have had too many changes but things are getting better. The principal is fluent in Spanish. It shouldn't matter anyway because many staff members speak the language. Music and art have been restored. The school is looking for a librarian. The staff does have input in decision making. Whoever wrote the above comments is obviously a bitter person. We love our school!
School 8 has had 4 new principals in the last 6 years. It is primarily an Hispanic population, but, no administators speak Spanish. The class sizes are 25-30 per. Music, Art and Library has been removed from the curriculum. There is no collaboration with the staff on any issues. The teachers are left completely out of all conversations about how to improve the school. How does a school succeed under this type of leadership???
