Stepping Stone Learning Center

I rarely write a review but felt obliged to do so now that my son is graduating. He has been in Stepping Stone since he was 21/2 years old & I cannot tell you what a source of comfort the school has been for my family. The staff is wonderful but Denise (the Director) is absolutely fantastic. If I had to give another parent advice on choosing a child care facility, it would be :
a) Do not get over enamored by cosmetics & presentation/sales.
b) As as many questions as you feel necessary.
c) Trust your insticts &
d) Whatever you do, consider this facility as an option, for your child.

Excellent facility. Another reviewer had made the comment that there may be more cosmetically pretty Centers & our child was in one of them. I would trade all the cosmetics in the world for what this Center has provided my child. Love the Director.

Great Center! Best decision we ever made for our children.

My daughter is at this Center. We had moved from another facility. You will find other facilities that are cosmetically more pleasing &, as a parent, it was easy to make one's decision based on looks....that is what we did at the other Center. We are delighted that we moved to Stepping Stone because this is a great facility. The Director is fantastic. The staff is friendly & helpful & most important my child could not be happier.

We were very nervous parents & did a lot of research before deciding on a Center. We also looked at every facility in the area. Our child has now been in Stepping Stone for 2 years. Absolutely the best decision we ever made!

Patty: I have two children at this Center. I did a lot of research before I enrolled my children. Their site was the only one that has parent references. I also spoke many existing parents & ex parents before enrolling my children. Absolutely the best decision we ever made!  The Director is fantastic & my children love their teachers.

Stepping Stone is an excellent child care center.  The staff is lovely.  My experience has been a wonderful one for all of my three children who attended preschool there.  The children are well cared for, safe and learning.  I checked out many places, but this one is the best. Thank you.

My 4 year old loves it at Stepping Stone! The teachers make the kids feel special and give them the individual attention they need. i have tried two other preschools and been dissatisfied but Stepping Stone meets and exceeds all my expectations as a parent!

I've got two daughters (ages 2 and 4) and they both love Stepping Stone. We moved out of River Edge last year (my husband got transferred) and I still take the girls here every day, even though it means driving an extra 30 minutes. Great staff with a lot of energy. Good balance of fun and learning. Highly recommended.

Andy: I have had two children graduate from this Center. I also had my neighbor's son at this Center. I must have recommended it to at least five other families, all of whom either have/had children at this facility. Denise, the Director, is wonderful & so is the most of the staff. Many have been there for 15 years or more.

Would not recommend.  Huge school, with high staff turnover.  Class sizes are way too big for 3 - 5 year olds.  Not individualized.  Feels like an institution.
