Veritas Christian Academy
1Considered sending my daughter her, but after reading reviews and having her spend the day there herself, there is no way I would ever send her there. Disorganized classes, unfriendly students and lack of teachers are just a few of the problems we observed. Glad we visited before making a decision.

1parent: i hate this school, they have no class options and most teachers are very unhelpful, as well as the principal. The bible teachers have very radical views when it comes to the education of christianity, and many times it is offensive. transferring my daughter out next year. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

1i hate this school. there is nothing to do and the teachers are absolutely offensive in the presentation of their radical views. This school does not teach christian values, it teaches to hate anyone who is different then the small chritsian denomination which this school is a part of.

5MBinJersey: Our son attended Public Schools in what some consider a good district in Morris County. During his HS Freshman year he found the prevailing culture of the students rewarded conformity with teen culture, with risky behavior, alcohol & drugs. That was HIS take, and he wanted no part of it. We are VERY thankful to have found Veritas
Christian Academy, he loves it there. It’s an academic High School meeting Jersey State standards grades 9 through 12. Enrollment for 2011 is 76 students, with 8 certified teachers. Good Academics, family involvement, growing sports program, respectful behavior are distinctives at Veritas. Very positive atmosphere. Several staff are former Public HS Teachers. On Route 15, outside Sparta, NJ. Nice building built new in 2004, designed to commercial code as a School and a Church. Tuition is reasonable. If at least one parent is evangelical Christian (a variety of churches are represented), consider this. www.VeritasNJ.org

1In my opinion its a glorified homeschool, the classes are clostaphobic and some have not windows. Its really a church they use as a school. The teachers are nice but there are not enough class choices. in total they have about five teachers teaching the courses, they are most retired teachers also. This school is very expensive I would like to see a more organized school situation and their setting does not meet that requirement for us maybe if the school was a more organized school we would have kept our child there. This statement is just my opinion and not meant to keep any one out of attending this school. it is an expression of our experience and our opinion.
