Marlboro Montessori AcademyBrigitte: As both a teacher and a parent at Marlboro Montessori Academy, the focus is on the development of the child's inner self. From my experience as both teacher and a parent, children are happy here. Each child is nurtured and learns through their environment and Montessori materials. Once a Montessori concept is mastered, a child can often do an extension with the materials, enabling him/her to increase his/her abilities and think on a higher level. In today's world, this prevents a child from getting bored. In my opinion, this is a place where children are nurtured and where they can express their curiosity and desire to learn.

Marlboro Montessori AcademyI feel so fortunate that our family has been a part of Marlboro Montessori Academy. The teachers are outstanding and really focus on the individual child. My children have been at MMA since they were 3 years old and now they are attending their kindergarten and 1st grade programs. MMA is an incredible school that has provided both a challenging and nurutring environment for my children. MMA has given them the love of learning, and have prepared them to face the challenges of the future. I can not thank MMA enough!

Marlboro Montessori AcademyErin C.: Marlboro Montesssori has a thirty-year track record of educating self-directed life-long learners. I can attest to this because I graduated among the first graduating classes and have two ivy-league masters degrees! I believe the critical early learning stage is when Montessori can integrally impact and define the future academic paths our children take. At Marlboro Montessori, the staff combined with the curriculum make it the superlative learning environment that it is. All three of my children presently attend Marlboro Montessori and I am thrilled, especially with their language and reading acquisition. I highly recommend MMA, their staff and administration. In a word, extraordinary.

5Dina: With all due respect to the previous reviews, you don't make an assessment on the performance of a school based on what the payment options or the number of tuition installments are. You wouldn't send your child to a terrible school because they have a terrific payment plan. My daughter has been in the Marlboro Montessori pre-k program and the school is terrific. The teachers and staff here are great, and my daughter loves her teachers & the school. I feel that as a parent, they keep me engaged with what is happening with my child, but also with what is happening in the school, with regular e-mails and written communication to my home. It is a bit more costly, but look at the student to teacher ratio, and your child is in a true, structured learning environment as opposed to "daycare/babysitting". Having looked at many other alternatives, there no question this was the right place to settle our daughter.

5The tuition is based on an annual amount. It is payable in 10 equal installments. It can be confusing when you enroll after the school year has started as tuition needs to be prorated for the remaining days left in the school calendar. This payment plan was set 34 years ago as most families did not want to pay the total tuition at one time. Monthly payments are more popular among day care centers who have just started in the last few years to charge weekly and monthly fees. The Marlboro Montessori Academy continues to offer educational services as a private school, extended care, and summer camp, with an annual tuition in mind.

4This is a good school, have a good environment and friendly teachers and nice administator, however, the tuition is very higher than another competitive Montessori and Academy schools. Also the tuition is very confusing as the school is only for 9 months class, but you have to pay for 10 payments. You need to circulate the tuition very careful as you need to read the calendar to figure out when is the end of the school year. You will find out the end of the school is on the begining of June. However, they break down the payment for 10 mth installments, it seems you pay less. Actually you pay more and pay for 10 mths class, but it is only for 9 mth class for your kid to attend.
