Armijo Elementary School

Crystal: This is my sons second year at Armijo Elementary and so far so good! Last year he attended the Pre K program which is funded by the state, and I must say I loved it!!! His teachers were so great! He learned to write his name, follow instructions, and identify words along with homework. I was very impressed that the main focus was education and parent involvement. I say this because his previous Pre K Class was more like a daycare and lacked communication with parents.
  It is now the second week of kindergarten and homework is being assigned. I am pleased to say that it looks like it will be another great year of learning and fun!! In my opinion Armijo is one of the best schools in the South Valley!!
