I myself  went to harrison( i'm a grandma now and all my children attended and now my grand daughter.  I love the community and i feel as long as i was involved in the school. I was part of their education. I now see my daughter following the educational needs of her daughter. i feel you only hear the bad things about Harrison, there are good things going on there too.

I went to Harrison from 1989 to 1992.  During this time I felt my teachers were uninterested in teaching.  There was one exception, Dr. M. Kravitz.  Also, there was little interest in controlling the delinquent of the students.  I was picked on terribly just for being white by Hispanic students.  Because I went to high school outside of my district (Highland high, '96) I am now a college graduate.  Do not send your children here if you are white and wish a better life for them.

"This school has absolutely changed my son's life! He is a brilliant kid who has a learning disability, and the staff absolutely understands his situation and teaches the way he learns! They are so insightful, understanding and capable, I feel lucky that we are part of that community."

"They have a newly built building which is absolutely gorgeous and very well laid out. In general the staff is caring, but firm. Only bad thing is that parent involvement is not encouraged. Yet!!"
