Sixth Street Elementary School Reviews

By a Parent on

This is a cool little school considered not so great for being mostly low income.  I however have come to appreciate the fact that my children really are being challenged and that the teachers and principles have a genuine interest in them.  The principle knows all the children by name as he does the parents, he plays football on the playground with the children and sits in every classroom everyday for a few minutes.  The teachers are super creative but at the same time they are always pushing the kids on the computers and other technology.  The drawbacks are that it does seem like most of the parents do not put in the time with their children that they could or should which means not all the children are at the same level even with such a great staff.
