Brighter Choice Charter School for Boys

Victor: The school does the best job it can with what it's given but too often the school get no help or involvement from the parents, many of whom are inner-city poor. I could be described as inner-city poor myself but I am a very involved and hands-on parent. Unfortunately, too many others are not. BCCS does what it can to with the kids while they are in class to train and teach them to be responsible and contributing members of society. The problem is they're approach does not carry outside the classroom. My child has gotten assaulted on the school bus a number of times and the school does absolutely NOTHING about it. The bus ride in general is a hellride!  The kids run the street, they curse, they talk about explicit sex, at grammar school age!! They turn a blind eye and ear to anything that goes on outside they're walls.

A program that doesn't carry beyond it's walls is a failure. Sorry BCCS!
